Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Snack Attack: Helping Kids Fight Off Fatigue and Hunger, a project from Ms. Sechrist (2)

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration becauseit supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Due to our schedule my first graders will have to eat lunch much later in the day. This snack time will help keep them from being hungry and tired during a very long morning. This will be their first year having last lunch and will need a pick me up during the day.

To help keep them focused, energized, and content I would love to be able to provide them with a variety of healthy and yummy snacks.

We would love to be able to enjoy our snack while working in our classroom or even in our school garden. I know they would love to have snacks readily available to them to help keep their minds sharp and tummies full. We appreciate any and all help.
