Trump’s lawyer Alina Habba has a very busy schedule. She appears to spend mornings with her pals at Newsmax, trying out material in the smaller venues to see what hits. And then hits the main stage at night with Fox. It’s all bullsh*t, of course. But she’s managed to polish it into shinier bullsh*t for the bigger, PM crowd.

To wit, here she is up early to talk about the latest memes with Newsmax’s John Bachman.

Asked why folders seized by the FBI from Mar-a-Lago that once contained classified documents were empty, Trump lawyer Alina Habba says "I don't know," then pivots to talking about some meme she saw on Instagram pic.twitter.com/gEO73S2Uqy

“I saw this meme that was very funny on Instagram, I believe it was, that was amazing.” she told host John Bachman on Tuesday in response to the empty Top Secret folders found in Trump’s office and pool shed. “At first, it was the codes for the nuclear weapons. Now it’s invisible classified documents. You know, it could mean anything. I don’t know.”

“It could mean that they gave those documents to NARA and to the FBI prior, as we know, which they had done. It could mean there was nothing in them. It could mean they’re invisible,” she giggled, emphasizing the good part of her client’s dealings with the National Archives, when, after a year and a threat to inform Congress, he “voluntarily” gave back some of the documents he stole on the way our of the White House.

Here she is on Newsmax’s “Wake Up America” with Rob Finnerty explaining that the Department of Justice’s real job is to negotiate the return of those documents for all eternity, and not be so “litigious.”

Trump attorney Alina Habba complains that the Department of Justice is being “litigious”:

“They’re supposed to be cooperative … Yes, you’re supposed to enforce justice and laws, but the litigiousness is concerning.” pic.twitter.com/QXgYl0Z69y

“They’re supposed to be cooperative,” she tut-tutted. “This is the Department of Justice. Yes, you’re supposed to enforce justice and laws, but the litigiousness is concerning.”

Don’t those prosecutors understand they’re supposed to pass out juice and cookies and let all the kids talk about their feelings before nap time?

Yes, this is the same lawyer who submitted an affidavit to New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron swearing that she’d personally searched the same premises as those covered by the FBI warrant in her search for documents responsive to a subpoena by the New York Attorney General. Trust her, she’ll tell you all about it, as in this after dark spot on Fox where she seemed to suggest that the FBI was framing Trump for the crime of messiness.

Habba: I’m somebody who has been in his office.. I have firsthand knowledge. I have never seen that. That is not the way his office looks.. He has guests frequently there. pic.twitter.com/TJitoYZ7dM

If you’re feeling inefficient but don’t know why, this episode of the Non-Eventcast is for you.

From JARED CORREIA

In that segment, she explained that Trump has guests up to his office “all the time.” Because how better to reassure the American public of her client’s innocence than to highlight the fact that he parades domestic and foreign dignitaries in and out of the area where the FBI just discovered highly sensitive classified documents?

And in yet another Fox appearance, this time with the former president’s good buddy Sean Hannity, she helpfully admitted that the entire purpose of the case before Judge Cannon was to “stop any criminal investigation that might be happening or any investigation at all from proceeding dead in its tracks until that special gets into play.”

Habba: We’ll have a special master who will take a look.. give back the privileged information.. and stop any criminal investigation that might be happening or any investigation at all from proceeding dead in its tracks until that special gets into play pic.twitter.com/FSrSYbAlCC

And in yet another professional coup, Habba and her co-counsel on the insane RICO LOLsuit against Hillary Clinton and half of DC finally managed to file an opposition to the government’s motion to substitute itself as defendant for Rep. Adam Schiff and former Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein under the Westfall Act. Sure it’s a week late and it took Judge Donald Middlebrooks reminding her and extending the deadline by a weeksua sponte. But, you know, Alina Habba’s been busy.
